I am taking PotassiMax to help with my Osteopenia, but another great side effect is lots of energy, not sure if this is true for everyone but I don't feel tired in the late afternoon anymore. My doctor read the bottle on my last visit and said it was a great idea to take. So happy I found this product.*

Frequently Asked Questions

Can potassium make my blood pressure drop too low?

Studies suggest that potassium supplementation won’t make your blood pressure drop too low. In one trial, 38 adults and children with normal blood pressure were given potassium supplements of up to 3,000 mg potassium daily for adults and children up to 1,700 mg daily for one month. There was no change in their blood pressure with supplementation.

Will PotassiMax increase my blood potassium levels?

If you do not have severe kidney disease it is unlikely that potassiumsupplementation will increase your blood potassium levels. In one clinical trial, patients were given a total dose of 3,700 mg of potassium supplement daily, orabout 1,230 mg three times a day. The blood potassium level increased from 4.2to 4.6 but stayed well within the normal range (3.5-5.1 mmol/L).
